Hyperhidrosis is an unpleasant feature of the body characterized by excessive sweating not only in areas with an increased concentration of sweat glands, but also in the whole body.
Excessive sweating can be uncomfortable and interfere with your daily routine and limit your social contacts. Sweat and heat are a good breeding ground for microorganisms, so hyperhidrosis, in addition to unpleasant odors, can also cause infectious skin diseases caused by fungi or bacteria.
Before the procedure, it is recommended to conduct a Minor test (determination of the most intense zones of sweating, using iodine and starch preparations). In order to distribute the neurotoxin to more or less active areas of sweat secretion.
Treatment of excessive sweating involves injecting the drug under the skin with a thin needle to a depth of 1-2 mm. Many such injections are made (throughout the problem area). As a result, the work of the sweat glands is blocked, and sweating almost stops. This causes a minimum of discomfort, and the effect is visible on the first day.
The effect of the drug begins 3-5 days after the procedure, intensifies up to 3 weeks and lasts, on average, for 6-8 months (sometimes up to a year)
